Dialogue Editing

Project: Eden’s Garden

Project: Eden's Garden is a free-to-play game inspiring by the Danganronpa series of video games released by Spike Chunsoft.

In this video, my dialogue editing and sound design are featured front and center with a brimming cast of 17 unique voices all working remotely with different microphones.

For the game, I have created a system in which hundreds of lines of recorded character dialogue can be edited and turned over in minutes, ready to be put into the game engine.

P:EGcast - San Japan

The Project: Eden’s Garden team went to San Antonio, Texas in September 2023 to attend San Japan, an anime convention in which we hosted an indie game booth showcasing a demo of Chapter One of the game.

In addition to the booth, we also held a behind-the-scenes panel and recorded multiple podcast episodes about our time there and what it’s been like working on the game.

Check out this episode of the podcast where I set up the video and audio equipment and edited the audio recording for this video!

Video Content

My experiences on YouTube and Twitch working by myself and collaborating with other creators has allowed me to be able to edit dialogue for video and streaming content online.

In this video, you will see an example of my work with my playthrough of the indie-game “Inscryption”, a deck-building rogue-lite. My voice over was edited live with effects and then edited in my video editor to ensure that the voice and the gameplay music and sounds support each other for a more immersive viewing experience.
